TEAM STANDARDS

Our bookkeepers are required to fulfill four standards – Education, Experience, Testing & Training:

Completed Cert IV in Bookkeeping
2 - 5 years experience
Successfully completed the Pure Bookkeeping Skills Assessment
Successfully completed the Pure Bookkeeping Training Program

Because we are licenced to use the Pure Bookkeeping System, you can rest easy knowing that you will never find yourself in that vulnerable position again!

The Pure Bookkeeping System includes a rigorous Skills Test that all suitable candidates complete before they are interviewed and accepted on our team. It was surprising to see that most candidates FAILED the test! We were then able to choose the cream of the crop.

The next hurdle they need to overcome, before they even start working for us, is to complete the Pure Bookkeeping Training Program. This comprehensive program covers all aspects of best practice bookkeeping.

Alison has a Diploma of Business Accounting and recently completed an MBA majoring in Finance. Alison has an organised and practical approach to problem solving with critical thinking capabilities. As the owner of three businesses, Alison has extensive experience in the Outdoor Power Equipment Industry and is passionate about supporting local businesses to reach their goals.

“My passion lies with small and medium businesses and helping them achieve their business goals. Bookkeeping is more than just staying compliant; it provides insights into how a business is managed and operated. Up to date, clean, orderly bookkeeping allows us see with clarity and direction the facts behind the numbers, helping business owners to make better informed decisions and understand exactly how their business is performing.

My aim is to help our clients to be engaged in their business, to understand where they are and to make plans about where they would like to be. Being a part of that journey is why I love what I do”.

Alison lives in Melbourne with her husband, two teenages and an array of beloved pets including a turtle!

BOOKKEEPER, PURE BOOKKEEPING TRAINED

Louise, BComm, Chartered Accountant, is a loyal team member who goes above and beyond every time for our customers. Loise has worked in the accounting field across a range of industries in Far North Qld for the last 20 years and understands local Tableland issues and their impact on local businesses. Louise has a great understanding of accounts procedures and compliance, and is able work to deadlines without getting flustered.

"I get a lot of satisfaction in providing great client service by taking a tangle of information (that financial data can be) and turning it into a clear picture to help business managers understand how their business is travelling."

Louise, a great an asset to our team, handles some of our more complex projects with experience in Xero, MYOB, QBO and Sprockit.

Louise welcomes you to our Atherton office and loves receiving gifts from local farmers!

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR

Jodie is an organised, hardworking, self-motivated office all-rounder, with 20+ years administrative experience in multiple industries.

Jodie's bubbly and outgoing personality along with her great communication skills make her a great team member and is responsible for managing the companies workflow and client engagement.

Living on the beach south of Sydney, Jodie has worked with Alison on different projects for over 10 years!

BOOKKEEPER, PURE BOOKKEEPING TRAINEE

Shilpa is a hardworking, dedicated, bright and bubbly person who is quite comfortable with adapting to new softwares and environments. For almost a decade, Shilpa has been
working as an accountant and has experience in providing and managing all admin tasks.

"I am able to stay calm under stress, am organised, able to plan ahead and have excellent communication skills with empathetic attitude".

Shilpa has worked as an NDIS Plan Manager, has successfully completed a Bachelor in Accountancy in Commerce and is a Yoga teacher.
